You
would think that Redd and Co. Fine Jewelers is a new business,
but after getting to know the man behind the name, you soon
understand that it is a company that has been around for 20
years.
After
immigrating to the United States at the age of 12 with his
family, Redwan Kholi was immersed in American teenage life.
After graduating from high school, he joined the work force,
like many men of his time. Redwan, also known as, “Red”,
began to work as a sales associate at a corporate jewelry
chain store. Ten years and many long Christmas seasons later,
Red came to manage one of the most successful jewelry stores
in town. Building strong relationships with customers and
acquiring strong knowledge of the jewelry industry, Red’s
expertise became highly demanded. He soon found himself working
at various corporate jewelry chain stores. Beginning to realize
that he knew more about the jewelry business than most of
the corporations he was working for, he routinely envisioned
opening his own jewelry store.
In the early winter of 2003, Red decided to venture out on
his own. With hard work, years of experience and a devoted
following of customers under his belt, he opened Redd and
Co. Fine Jewelers in June 2003.
His staff,
which includes, his wife of 13 years, Lisa, and long-term
colleague and friend, Tina, has already begun to separate
themselves from any other area jewelry store sales force.
The staff’s ability to provide customers with the highest
fine jewelry in a relaxed environment is the forefront of
Red’s business philosophy.
Redd
and Co. Fine Jewelers officially opened its doors a few months
ago, however, its conception began 20 years ago in the vision
of a young jewelry sales associate.
